Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Castleshaw Holiday Home.
The holiday week is from Saturday at 4.00pm to the following Saturday at 1pm. A £100 booking deposit per week is required, the balance payable 8 weeks prior to your stay. If you are unable to arrive at the agreed time please call us as soon as possible. It is strictly Saturday changeover during high season. During other periods we will try to facilitate your travel arrangements.
A £75 breakage deposit per week is also required (paid on arrival). The deposit is usually refunded in full as long as the house is left as it was found, clean and tidy. This deposit is used when breakages / damage occurs or due to excessive oil usage.
Electricity charges are not included, usually between £7-15 per week. We do not make profit but charge this at cost. Oil usage is included, although excessive use will be charged for.
On your day of departure if you wish to leave the house before 12 noon it is difficult for us to meet you. Therefore it is necessary for you to secure the property and put the keys through the letterbox. The house will then be inspected later the same day and your breakage deposit will be returned within 7 days.
Small house trained pets are welcome.
The owners of the property cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any person or property however caused.
Accommodation must not be occupied by more than the number of persons stated on the 'confirmation of booking' form.
Sheets (or duvets / sleeping bags) and pillow cases must be used at all times.
The holiday maker is required to leave the bungalow in the condition it was found, clean and tidy.
No all male or all female parties will be accepted.
If the hirer wishes to cancel the booking this is without penalty as long as it is within 8 weeks of your arrival date. If less than 8 weeks, we will try to re-let the period, but if this proves to be impossible, the full rental fee will still be due.
Insurance: We recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance for your needs. We cannot be held responsible for the costs if you fail to do so. The insurance should cover cancellation or if you incur any emergency or unforeseen expenses. Personal liability cover should also meet the cost of any damage or breakages during your stay. We advise you take our insurance at the time of booking.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the property is kept secure at all times.
The owners reserve the right of entry to the house at any time to carry our services or repairs.
